This painting sent me flying across the room when I saw a big blob of black paint heading its way while it was resting on the drying rack. A drop landed on it, but it didn’t ruffle Ashleigh. She cleverly disguised it in such a way that I don’t even remember where the blob fell. It’s a beauty, for sure, and includes six of our basic human emotions. I love its straightforwardness and how she used the space, not to mention the spectacular use of color.
